Research Position: Barry University's Adrian Dominican School of Education (ADSOE) invites applications from qualified individuals to join the faculty in the Curriculum and Instruction department. The department seeks candidates who have a strong understanding of foundations of educational research; documented record of and expertise with quantitative research methods and statistical analyses; and experience with applied or theoretical educational research in areas complementary to programs in the department and across the university. Research courses service programs in several ADSOE departments which gives the appointee the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and students across departmental boundaries. Teaching responsibilities include quantitative and advanced quantitative research methods and foundations of research. Rank based on experience, research accomplishment, and ability to meet the qualifications for the given rank within Barry University. Desired rank is Associate Professor, but other ranks will be considered.
Qualifications: An earned doctorate in education or a social/behavioral science; demonstrated capability to teach graduate level research courses; a documented record of contemporary scholarly research; experience in educational research design and activity. University graduate/doctoral teaching, including dissertation supervision; teaching to a diverse student body and service are additional credentials to be considered.
