[No. 998410] Tenure TrackThe Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel program announces the availability of a tenure- track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The growing program seeks to prepare highly- effective higher education administrators and staff professionals who possess the skills and competencies required to meet the varied challenges facing today&#f092;s two-year, four-year, and graduate institutions, and to help shape our institutions in the future.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach program core and elective courses, depending on interest, expertise, and balanced responsibilities of the program faculty. The program emphasizes International HE, Student Affairs Administration, and Business practices. We are seeking an individual with experience and/or expertise in one or more of these areas. The new faculty member will advise students in the Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel M.Ed. and Ph.D. programs; direct dissertations; develop and maintain a strong record of scholarship in higher education; participate in the leadership of the program (e.g., recruitment and admissions, curriculum development, planning, possible coordination of international certificate); serve on department, college, and university committees; connect with external constituencies; and participate in the activities of relevant professional organizations.
