The School of Educational Studies seeks applications or nominations for a faculty position in Higher Education Administration to serve the Educational Leadership Program. The successful candidate will serve program needs of the OSU Tulsa and Stillwater campuses, but will have primary responsibilities on the Tulsa campus. The position is full-time, tenure-track, academic year appointment with open rank (9 months). Appointment will be effective Fall 2008 or earlier. Committee review of application will begin December 1, 2007 and will continue until the position is filled. Responsibilities: In addition to teaching on the Tulsa and Stillwater campuses and research responsibilities in higher education, the successful candidate is expected to provide leadership in the program area on the Tulsa campus, maintain active relationships with higher education professionals in the Tulsa area, lead recruiting efforts for the program in the Tulsa area, serve on masters and doctoral committees, participate in curriculum development, engage in internal and external service activities, and seek external grants and contracts. Successful candidate should be prepared to teach graduate courses in higher education administration. Qualifications required: An earned doctorate in higher education administration or related field at the time of appointment. The successful candidate should present a record (or demonstrated potential) for research in addition to teaching service and experience in higher education consistent with the rank being sought. The program is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the area of educational policy.
