Job Description The Department of Educational Leadership at the University of Nevada invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August, 2008. The University offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in higher education administration, as well as advising graduate students and supervising research. Candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in teaching and research.The review process will begin November 30, 2007.
Required Qualifications Applicants should have a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in educational leadership in higher education (or closely related field), with emphasis on educational policy or administration.
Preferred Qualifications Individuals with experience in higher education or completing a post-doctoral fellowship are encouraged to apply. Also important are research skills, a background in higher education, an interest in working with colleagues from multiple disciplines, and enthusiasm for directing doctoral research.
